Happy New Year!! 
As many of you know, I moved to my new home in Watsonville over the holidays.
Whew –glad that’s over –well, mostly! I rang in the New Year with a glass of bubbly in one hand and a paintbrush in the other. Even before I had unpacked, I noticed soon
after a couple days that the house has this homey feeling that is pretty undeniable. My kitchen and living room overlook the backyard which faces south, so an abundance of light comes in all day with rolling hills, farmhouses and mountain views in the distance. On cold or rainy nights, I relax and enjoy the warmth of a fire in the fireplace. There’s a good size backyard and I plan to get two chickens this Spring. A friend exclaimed, “You’ve moved to the country!” Maybe so. One thing is for sure. I think I know how many of my clients feel who have lived in their homes for many years: it just feels like HOME.
